About the company
Everis is a global company dedicated to the "disruption" and "digital transformation" of government agencies and enterprises, i.e. helping them move their data and services to "the cloud". Everis has been part of the Japanese NTT DATA Corporation since 2013.
Contribution to the EU border regime
Together with SOPRA STERIA and CANCOM , the company, which has 27,000 employees and is headquartered in Madrid, form the "ecos" consortium. The ecos-consortium has been commissioned to modernize the databases of Frontex and eu-LISA in 2021 at a cost of almost half a billion euros. eu-LISA, like Frontex, is an agency of the European Union responsible for setting up and managing the "internal security" databases - including EURODAC, SIS II and VIS, as well as the future entry-exit system to record all travelers to the EU.
